Ace of Cupcakes takes the cupcake to a whole new level. More than simply decorating a cupcake, students will transform these little treats into a work of art. Each week will students will build a themed dessert that looks too good to eat, but don’t worry they will scarf it down in a flash if you let them. During this hour and 15 minute class , the gymnast will perfect their fundamental skills and progressively be introduced to new skills. Strength, flexibility, balance and confidence will be gained from this class. Various mats, bars, beams and ports pits will be used in this 6 week class that meets in the gymnasium at LECC.

NOTE: Transportation from LPS or LES is NOT provided. Children must be dropped off by their parent/guardian/caregiver.

During this 45 minute class basic fundamental gymnastics skills will be taught. Skills will be perfected and new gymnastic skills will be introduced. The class meets at LECC in the gymnasium.

They will learn how to transform a piece of clay into a wonderful bowl, vase or plate after drawing their own design. They will learn basic wedging, centering, pulling and decorating. They will also glaze their masterpiece as well. This is a class they will want to take over and over again!

This interactive course teaches topics such as First Aid, Self-Heimlich maneuver, reasons to call 911, fire escape plans, microwave safety and how to problem solve out of the ordinary situations. A parent guide is included in the student manual which provides helpful discussion points between parent and child. Parents do not need to attend the class.

Cooking is a delicious learning experience for children! Your child can explore new foods, learn about nutrition and even develop math skills. For this class, we will prepare tasty and healthy winter, comfort foods. On the last day your child will bring home a cookbook with all 6 tasty recipes.

Afternoon LECC kindergartners and first graders attending our 4:15 class will need permission to walk from their classroom after school to the cafeteria. This form is found on our website. An adult will be there to supervise until the cooking class begins. Those children attending morning kindergarten or first grade at LPS will need transportation to the cooking class. You may drop off your child at the side cafeteria door any time after 4:00. Pick up will be at this door also. We need to know if your child has any allergies. Thank you
